Evelyn B. Bowen 86 of Indianapolis passed away Friday
January 4th 2019 at Her Home in Indianapolis. Evelyn was born
May 23rd 1932 in Somerset, Kentucky. She married Harold Burton,
who sadly passed in December of 1977. Evelyn then married
Royce Bowen who also sadly passed in August of 2013. She was a
loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-
Grandmother. Survivors include Daughters Patsy Gettinger and
Reva Stephens Son Edward Burton, Grandchildren Michael
Gettinger, Evelyn Jones, Emily Avila, and Brittany Sims, a brother
Howard Brock, and her dog Benji. Services will be held at Indiana
Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel on Thursday Jan, 10 at 12pm Burial will be in Forest
Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

Children and grandchildren of Evelyn …. you have our condolences & our prayers! Death is an enemy to us ,,, but the last enemy we will confront , if we know Jesus ! We are safe in the arms of Jesus,, when we leave this world of darkness & evil! It really is a time of rejoicing ,,, for the child of God! I am so sorry to hear of the death of Evelyn. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow.
